Attended and spoke at a Seminar at Pakistan High Commission London. Where we marked six painful years since 05 August 2019, when India took illegal and unilateral steps in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir—an assault on the identity, dignity, and rights of the Kashmiri people, in defiance of UN Security Council Resolutions and international law.
Since then, over 8 million Kashmiris have endured a relentless siege:
• Communications blackouts,
• Arbitrary detentions and custodial killings,
• Sexual violence and harassment,
• Targeting of youth, leaders, and human rights defenders.
This is not just a political dispute—it is a grave humanitarian crisis.
